As we move into the New Representative Season, a few reminders with the sanctioning of trial games.
Any club within your zone, that wishes to trial against another club within another zone within NSWCJRU or SJRU. The club through their Zone is to notify NSWCJRU or NSWCRU of this trial. The dates and trial will be recorded in NSWCRU or NSWCJRU’s database and the trial will be then sanctioned. Please be advised, that trial games that are not sanctioned by NSWCJRU or NSWCRU will place that organisation at risk of liability if a player or participant is injured.
SANCTIONING OF GAMES
Club vs Club both clubs within own Zone: Zone to sanction Game
Club vs Club that is outside their own Zone (including Sydney or other state club teams): NSWCRU or NSWCJRU to sanction Game
Zone vs Zone trial games: NSWCRU or NSWCJRU to Sanction game
Zone vs other Union teams, (Sydney or other state rep teams): NSWCRU or NSWCJRU to Sanction Game
This action is mandatory for all NSWCRU and NSWCJRU Clubs and Zone teams to complete before a team is to participate in the game. In the 2009 Season, many trial games took place that were not sanctioned for insurance purposes and we were lucky that no-one was injured.
Please ensure all your club members are aware of this requirement before they commence their trials for the 2010 Season.
-Team/Club/Zone participating in the trial (include all teams in preseason Competitions)
-Team/Club/Zone that is playing against you (include all Teams)

For Juniors you will receive an email back sanctioning the trials/games and the details will appear on the NSWCJRU Website www.countryjuniors.com.au in the Zone Calendar section.
